Mooring bollards
Mooring bollards, piers, and line bollards are all key mooring facilities in ports and wharves. Mooring bollards are mostly made of cast iron and installed at the edge of the wharf for mooring vessels; line bollards are commonly found on floating wharves or inland waterways and are smaller in size. Together, they ensure the safe berthing of vessels by securing cables, making them indispensable basic components in water transport engineering.
